This session combines HCA’s Mixed Method Application with content creation education, giving you the opportunity to develop your extension skills and learn how to capture your results in a way that reflects the quality of your work.

Part 1: Mixed Method Application

Learn how to combine Keratin Bonds and Weft extensions to create customised results tailored to each client’s hair and desired look.

The morning includes guided mannequin practice, allowing you to develop your technique and understand how the two methods work together. You’ll then move into a shared live model application, where Ashlyn will guide you through the process and share practical tips along the way.

Part 2: Social Content & Photography

Once you’ve explored the technical side, the focus shifts to showcasing your work. Learn how to capture your transformations and create polished, professional content that helps your salon stand out online.

Specialising in hair extensions and colour, Ashlyn is known for creating seamless transformations that combine length, fullness, and dimension. She has a particular love for blondes, from soft lived-in blondes and dimensional brondes to high-impact, bright blonde transformations, using colour and extensions together to create elevated, customised results. From behind the chair, Ashlyn is passionate about creating engaging content and capturing the perfect after-shot images that showcase the detail and transformation behind her work. As an educator for Hair Candy Australia, she shares her knowledge with fellow stylists, helping them refine their extension techniques, enhance their colour skills, and confidently incorporate extensions into their own salon offerings.
